Your Glider May Not Be Performing as Well as You Think
If you open the user manuals of most paragliding manufacturers, you will find a consistent recommendation: equipment should be inspected regularly, typically after every 100 flight hours or at least once every 24 months of use.
As a paraglider pilot, it is worth asking yourself: when was the last time your wing was professionally inspected by a certified service center?
In reality, many components of a paraglider change over time—even when the equipment is stored and maintained properly. For example, lines may naturally shrink or stretch, gradually altering the wing’s angle of attack compared to the original design specifications. In some cases, fabric can also degrade faster than expected due to specific environmental conditions during operation.
In minor cases, this results in reduced performance: more difficult takeoffs, lower glide efficiency, and handling characteristics that no longer match the original certification level. In more serious cases, the wing may no longer behave within the safety envelope defined by the manufacturer, leading to issues such as an increased risk of stalls or difficult recovery behavior.
Regular inspection is the only reliable way to understand the actual condition of your equipment—the gear you trust with your life and your passengers on every single flight.

For complex technical issues, GINMEC performs an initial diagnosis before defining a detailed repair or maintenance plan. Any required procedures and additional costs will always be communicated transparently and proceed only after customer approval.
